CALLING ALL STEWARDS AND ACTIVISTS

As many of you know by now, we are at great risk of losing Letter Carrier walks by a rate of 48.5% with the transition from door to door delivery, to the new CMB delivery model.

Naturally, this is a huge concern to those of us who rely on and value our jobs within the Communities we service.

The time to get involved is now, while we still have a chance at ending this ludicrous dismantling of a Publicly Owned Postal Service. It is up to us to speak on behalf of the millions of residents who will be impacted by these changes.

A friendly reminder WE NEED YOU! We will be canvassing door-door at the following locations:

Sherwood Park: September 27th and 28th

10:00 a.m.

Muster Point: Dairy Queen Parking Lot

#20 Cranford Way

St. Albert: October 4th and 5th

10:00 a.m.

Muster Point: St. Albert Centre Mall

375 St. Albert Trail

IF YOU VALUE YOUR JOB PLEASE GET INVOLVED and ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO GET INVOLVED!

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN! I WILL BE SENDING OUT A NOTICE FOR A CITY WIDE C & D SHOP STEWARD MEETING IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE.

For further information please contact me via email or phone.

In Solidarity,

Sister Ange Freer

Chief Shop Steward (C & D)
